MY CORNER / PRIVACY
Your collection. Your privacy.
How the current version of My Corner handles photos and usage records.
Updated October 10, 2026
What stays on your device
Names, boxes, notes, original photos and saved display images are stored in local app data. Widget thumbnails are written to a local container shared by the app and its widget. The current version does not sync collections to the cloud. Whether device backups include this data depends on your system backup settings.
Cutouts and studio processing
Apple Vision extracts the subject on your device. Before your first addition, the app explains automatic studio processing and asks for your consent. Continuing enables it for photos you add. A compressed prepared image is sent without the original EXIF or location metadata. Our Vercel backend and AI Gateway send it to a Google image model. Generated results are temporarily held in private Supabase storage and downloaded using time-limited authorized links.
Identity, allowances and purchases
Supabase creates an anonymous experience identity to associate requests and track the free allowance. The backend records this identity, job IDs, image hashes, processing status, timestamps, result paths and usage. When subscriptions open, Apple will handle payment and the backend will verify purchase receipts and subscription status. We do not receive your card information.
Retention
Server images become eligible for scheduled cleanup after 7 days. Job and allowance records are retained to maintain cumulative usage. Within 24 hours, the same prepared image and processing settings from the same experience identity may reuse a generated result. This reuse window is not an account or data-deletion deadline. Generation providers handle request data under their own terms and privacy policies.
Your choices
Delete local collectibles in the app and manage camera access in system settings. The photo picker provides only images you select. You can leave the add flow if you do not agree to automatic studio processing. Deleting a local item or uninstalling does not automatically remove server identity and usage records. Contact us below to request server data deletion; we will first help verify the relevant identity.
